Quick & Easy Healthy Dessert Idea

I am so sorry for the shakiness in this video!

Just when you thought you had to give up your sweets in order to live a healthy lifestyle! This chia seed parfait can double as breakfast or dessert. It is delicious, healthy, filing and super easy to make. For this video, I made a huge parfait, which can easily serve two. (I ate it all) However, if you are having an emergency sweets attack feel free to eat it all like I did :)

Here is what you need:

1-2 bananas, sliced thin

2 mangos, diced into bite size pieces

Approximately 1 cup of chia seed pudding

1-tablespoon toasted coconut

1-tablespoon coconut sugar

Directions:

1. In a fancy glass (just kidding it doesn’t have to be fancy) put 1 – 2 tablespoons of the chia pudding at the bottom. Sprinkle the pudding with coconut sugar.

2. Next add banana slices, one on top of the other to form a circular shape. Next add mango bites, first layer is done!

3. Repeat steps one and two until you reach the top of the glass. Finish with a sprinkle of toasted coconut flakes and a pinch of coconut sugar and enjoy!

How to make chia seed pudding:

Take 2 cups of almond milk or other nut milk and pour it into a mason jar.

Add 8 tablespoons of chia seeds.

Close the jar and shake well.

Place the jar into your refrigerator overnight.

And that’s it :)
